Chivalry Tips Empty Chivalry Tips

Post by poodude28 Thu May 15, 2014 6:55 pm

Hey guys, figured I'd put a few tips here for people who are new to Chivalry. One of them is if you are using the claymore, look down at the ground in front of your target and do an overhead, if that doesn't work do an overhead (but) feint and then do it again. It should trick them and you will end up hitting them. Alright, I'm not too good at explaining how to drag but I'll try. For example, start an overhead with your screen facing upwards (atleast more than half ways a little bit) and then as the overhead is going down move your screen down and that will make it go faster, you can do the same thing with left and right swings, you just have to either (while doing a right-side swing move your screen to the right from the left, or the opposite if you are doing a left swing. The farther you move your screen the better the drag, this usually works best with the maul, the messer, claymore, and a few other weapons. Those are just my favorites. For those of you that didn't know, you can hold ALT and do other types of alternate swings.

Will we ever escape the horrors of yawing?

Well, it cant sound or be as bad as it was in ja...its been 10 years, surely there's been improvement on that front?

I hope to God you can't spin like a loon with mouse and do 1 hit kills. What about the wiggles?

Are there wiggles too?

i absolutely hate this kind of fighting. It's boring, too easy, and basically abuse game mechanics. There's no way you can block this kind of shit. I'd rather feint over drag, but i do neither of them because only faggots like najo do that.

Yeah I know, I hate it too. I wish that all the players would fight like how the game was when it first came out, it was alot more fun. That's why I'm glad you can't do it in Deadliest Warrior except for the Katana that is super long, I forgot the name lol. Also, it isn't abusing the mechanics. I don't know why the dev's did it but they have it like that purposely. The crap that really needs to stop though is when people do super fast 360 crouch insta hit crap lol, that really annoys me.

It's different in DW, because each class has its frustating aspect, which balance it.
But you're damn right about the 360 zwei hander -hit-from-behind-blaze-it
